Quicktime Java在Processing 的問題

早前在comment回應了ho的問題, 發現很多人問, 不如我在這裡寫個新貼文:

這個例子只用了processing的video library.
我發現主要原因有好多:

可能係quicktime問題, 因為如果你用quicktime7 以下的version, setup時default係無選quicktime for java, 你要去updater先解決

另一個就係winvig問題, 唔同version的quicktime要配合不同version的winvdig
這兩個問題你可看看這個:

(另外quicktime 7還有不少bugs, 如果你想避之則吉, 最好不要用7, 我現在是用quicktime 7夾winvdig 1.0.5, java runtime environment是5, 還未發現有大問題)

若果quicktime和winvdig都肯定無問題, 那麼就是我遇到的問: Processing的內建Java.
因為Processing有兩個版本: with java和without java. 如果你像我一樣是java developer, 或之前都因為要support java的application而安裝了java, 那你就不要用 with java的Processing. 因為 with java的Processing內建自己的java sdk, libraries有限, 如video的library或你想用java lang就不行.

提一提, 你同時要make sure你的java sdk的版本是更新的 (因為processing不斷upgrade或者是develop library的developer有做了新的library, 而upgrade都是跟住新版本的java sdk) 你可以直接去 www.java.com下載.

請問一下，這種情況下該怎麼做???

我嘗試過將Quicktime砍掉重新安裝，也把WinVDIG重新安裝過了…可是會跑出同樣問題

順帶一提：Quicktime版本是7.2 WinVDIG是1.01

It would be simpler to use JMyron library (http://webcamxtra.sourceforge.net/), more stable and faster.

There’s some little bug on Mac though.

Sorry Lander, reply you late. If NoClassDefFoundError: quicktime/std/StdQTException, may not be the problem of WinVDIG. What version of Processing you are using? You can post the code here.
