Would not really agree to the saying that the price you pay for the iPhone is really that much cheaper though, at least for the US ppl speculate that the service plan would be at least US $5 - $10 more each month, totaling a much bigger revenue in the long run. The price reduce is just a marketing tactic. That's what most ppl in the US have been talking nowadays.
